Delmar R. Tonge, M.D., FACOG, FACS

Dr. Tonge earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1957. He did his internship at Los Angeles County U.S.C. Medical Center. Dr. Tonge is a member of numerous professional societies including; California Medical Association, American Medical Association and American College of OB/GYN. He is the founder of Modesto Arts Medical Group, Inc. and started the practice in 1966. Even though Dr. Tonge no longer sees patients in the office, he is still very active in practice management and numerous civic organizations including; Gallo Arts Center and Rotary International. |
John C. Pfeffer, M.D., FACOG, FACS

Dr. Pfeffer earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1977 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of numerous professional societies including: The American Medical Association, Stanislaus Medical Society, California Medical Association, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American College of Surgeons, American Urogynecology Society, American Fertility Society and California Perinatal Association. Dr. Pfeffer currently serves as the director of Sweet Success, a diabetes and pregnancy program, and is also the director of OB/GYN services at Doctor's Medical Center of Modesto. He is an expert medical reviewer for the Medical Board of California and a consultant for American Medical Supplies, Inc. and Intuitive surgical. Dr. Pfeffer is the first da Vinci certified obstetrician/gynecologist performing robotic hysterectomies, myomectomies and sacrocolpopexies in the Modesto area. He remains in the vanguard of this field by pioneering the first benign gynecological robotic surgical program in Stanislaus County. In addition to frequent lectures, he also trains surgeons in the use of the da Vinci surgical system. |
Randy D. Winter, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Winter earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of Stanislaus Medical Society, California Medical Association, American Medical Association and American College of OB/GYN. He has served in leadership positions in all of these organizations and is currently chairman of ACOG District IX section 3 and Vice-chair Board of Governors for Doctors Medical Center. Dr. Winter has privileges at all 3 local hospitals and has advanced training in Laparoscopic procedures, infertility, the da Vinci surgical system as well as pelvic and bladder surgery. He is the president of Allcare IPA, which represents over 600 local physicians. |
Sean B. Clare, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Clare is fluent is spanish. He earned his medical degree at Drew/UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California and completed his residency at Kaiser Permanente/Alta Bates Medical Center in Oakland, CA. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Clare is a member of the American College of OB/GYN, California Medical Association, Stanislaus Medical Society, Stanislaus Foundation for Medical Care and American Medical Association. He is currently chairman for the department of OB/GYN at Doctors Medical Center. He serves on several committees in the area including; Credential committee for Doctors Medical Center, Quality management committee and utilization management for Allcare IPA. Dr. Clare's main interests are minimally invasive surgery including; Total laparoscopic hysterectomy, da Vinci hysterectomy, conventional hysterectomy, endometrial ablations, hysteroscopy and Essure hysterscopic sterilization. |
